Our first quote of the day comes from Bruce Lee
How we cope with daily life often depends on our attitude towards the things or events that we encounter in our daily life. Which reminds me of another but similar quote; this time from Henry Adams
“All experience is an arch to build upon.”
Being positive about life should be the best way to approach life, though sometimes it is very hard to be positive about the circumstances we might find ourselves in. So I will finnish for now by encouraging each and everyone to endevour to be positive in what ever circumstances they find themselves in.
Todays quote is actually a little story. I came across it pinned to a noticeboard when I was doing some training in relation to office work. It is called
That’s Not My Job
This is a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure Somebody would do it. Anybody could of done it, but Nobody did it. Somebody got angry about that , because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought that Nobody could do it, but Nobody realised that Everybody wouldn’t do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
I hope you all get the message that is contained in this story. I’ll catch up with you all tomorrow. Till then, have a great day
First off an apology as I din’t get to post yesterday due to family & other commitments. And since i didn’t get to post yesterday you get a double dose today.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and this weekend is our General Conference weekend where our leaders give us guidence and direction. the folowing quote is from an article in a church magazine called the “Ensign.” The article was written by Joseph B Wirthlin, an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. The article is entitled “Finding A Safe harbour” and can be found in the May 2000 issue of the above magazine on page 59.
“In our own storms in life the Savior is our solace and our sanctuary. If we seek peace, we must come unto Him…The gospel gives us that harbor of enduring safety and security. The living prophet and the apostles today are as lighthouses in the storm. Steer towards the light of the restored gospel and the inspired teachings of those who represent the Lord on earth.”
Joseph B Wirthlin
Next I would like you to about what you want most in life as the next quote gives an idea in how you can achieve it. Unfortunately I cannot tell you who said it, but it does contain a lot of truth.
“We become what we think . . . . . Always.”
So I hope you find value in these two quotes. Until tomorrow.
Our quote for today deals with thinking. Something that I think I have posted before but it is a personal favorite of mine so here it is again.
“Thinking is the hardest thing we do, that is probly why so few indulge in it.”
Give it some thought people, it will help you with all that you do. Another one tomorrow, till then, Adieu.
